My Dog Loves Our Dog Training Videos

I have been following a series of dog training videos for seven months now and my westie dog just loves the training and can't get enough!

Last summer we had a serious bad behavior problem with our as then 8yr old westie € he was excessively jealous of a new baby and making his feelings well known. It was a complete shock; our normally well-behaved dog became disobedient and almost unmanageable overnight, basically as soon as he set eyes on the new baby.

My westie is not a very sociable dog with other dogs, so dog classes were out of the question, not to mention expensive. I needed a quick, easy training method to address my dog's problem and for us to be able to get our little dog back to his normal well-behaved, happy self.

I decided that dog training videos would be a good idea for us, as they are more user-friendly than dog training books. I did a fair amount of online research before settling on a series of 21 dog training videos, by a well-known, professional dog trainer based in the UK. I downloaded the dog training videos, along with the dog training book and other freeb ies such as newsletters going back over 18 months. The dog training videos cover every aspect of dog training from pup to adult dog and also address specific problems.

I work from home, so I made a plan to watch one video a day in the morning whilst having coffee and then go out in the afternoon with my dog on his own and put the training into practice. I skipped the pup training related videos and concentrated on obedience. I also watched the dog training videos alone with my dog. From the first time I watched a video, I noticed my dog was interested too and placed himself at my feet with his ears alert, while I made notes, although I didn't need to as I had printed out the whole dog training book for
reference.

Well it did demand effort on my part, all dog training does but I found the dog training videos particularly good, as I was able to hear and see how the trainer was achieving the desired results. I saw daily improvement with my dog and within 3 weeks he didn't even try and jump up to the baby.

My dog loves the dog training videos and the training itself so much that we have replayed the videos regularly and continued training sessions once a week, even though my dog doesn't need any more training. We are onto tricks now!
